The following zones have been added to the Arizona Weather Force alert
system outline.

Yavapai County was split into SIX zones.
The old zone was just Prescott.  The new zones are;
Seligman, Bagdad, Camp Verde, Spring Valley, and Yarnell -

Maricopa County was also split from the original zones.
Removed was the rural area north of Surprise, near the hills. Surprise was
re-added to its own zone further south of that blank piece of land to avoid
confusion.
Added were, Chandler and Rio Verde.

Gila County was split. We use to just have Payson and Globe. Payson took
care of Cibecue and Globe took care of the Tonto Basin. Now both Cibecue
(technically not Gila County) was added to the list along with Tonto Basin.
Payson was also split. Payson can take care of Young and Star Valley, but
it has been lacking taking care of Strawberry. Strawberry was added to the
list of new zones in the mountains.

Coconino County was also split. Canyon North added the city of Page.
Other areas in the county added were; Kaibito and Tuba City.
The Northern Colorado River Valley split with Bullhead City that use to
handle Lake Mead. Lake Mead/Hoover dam has been added, split from Bullhead
City.

Navajo County has added Kayenta, Northern section.

Apache County has added Sanders, Steamboat Canyon, Red Rock, and Rock
Point. Round Rock was removed and changed to Rock Point.

That is it for now, this will run it's course. If you are on the premium
e-mail alert system, log into your accounts and add yourselves to any of
the above you wish.

Link to the login page is here -

Once there, go to the blue button saying set the email alerts up and
checkmark the new zones that interest you -

ALL Mogollon Rim or near mountain cities are under the zones that starts
with "Arizona Mountains" and their elevation is listed for my records due
to winter snowfall forecast alerts. That is where you will find ALL of
Yavapai County as well. Tonto Basin is Gila County Tonto Basin.
