Issued Zones: Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee County … Southern Apache County …
Site: Arizona Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective later this morning through this evening …
Date: 6/19/22 at 9:40am PT
Forecast: Monsoon moisture has pushed east of Tucson for now but will return tomorrow (Monday) … for now instability and moisture present yet another round of thunderstorms moving southwest to northeast across for Southeast and Eastern Arizona today.
Some of the storms will contain some hail and gusty winds up to 50 mph. This falls below severe limits for a watch; however, I am watching what I will call ‘The Big Pull’ where moisture will again surge west to Tucson and Phoenix in the next 24–48-hour period. More on that in an article at around 11am on the main page.
