Date:  10/8/23 at 7:10am PT

Forecast: Moisture in the area will maximize today across the watch area.  Thunderstorms are expected to start forming later this morning, peaking this afternoon and evening.  Because these do not have a major upper-level dynamic, these will vacate the region after sunset, which would make them diurnal storms.  

Storms today will have some hail and gusty winds, but nothing severe is expected …
