Severe Thunderstorm Watch

Issued Zones:  Eastern Pima County … Cochise and Santa Cruz County …

Site:  Arizona Weather Force has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective now through this evening, expiring at 10pm tonight.

Date:  10/24/23 at 8:40am PT

Forecast: Moisture moving in from Mexico from Norma has been picked up by an upper-level low that brought thunderstorms to Sacramento a couple days ago.  This upper system will generate strong lifting in the watch area today, expiring at 10pm tonight.  

Storms today will have the chance of gusty winds, sizable hail, flooding, and funnel clouds and maybe even a tornado from the cold core low.
