Arizona Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch for the following areas:

Zones Issued: All of the Mogollon Rim areas, including Prescott, Cottonwood, Payson, Strawberry, Show Low, Pinetop, and Southern Apache County … All of Gila, Graham, and Greenlee County …

A storm system that brought storms yesterday to these areas is slowly moving out after today. But, today, expecting instability and upper dynamics to once again affect the zones issued above.  Storms will move from northwest to southeast.

Still, anyone within the watch areas should prepare for thunderstorm activity … Activity today can contain damaging winds, hail, and even the chance of tornado activity.
