Arizona Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch for the following areas:

Zones Issued: Yavapi County … Southwest and Southern Coconino County … Southeast Pinal County … Eastern half of Pima County, including Tucson … All of Santa Cruz and Cochise County … Graham and Greenlee County …

The previous Arizona Weather Force Thunderstorm Watch brought storms yesterday and this morning has expired but will need to be replaced by a secondary focus spot one to these areas. The storm is slowly moving out after today. But, today, expecting instability and upper dynamics to once again affect the zones issued above.  Storms will move from northwest to southeast.

Still, anyone within the watch areas should prepare for thunderstorm activity … Activity today can contain damaging winds, hail, and even the chance of tornado activity.
