Arizona Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch for the following areas:

Zones Issued: Yavapi, Coconino, Mohave, Gila, Apache, and Navajo County …

An inside slider will move through the region out of Nevada and Utah.  This will begin in Northwest Arizona after the 12-1pm hour for the Colorado River Valley zones.  Instability and upper-dynamics with it will spread across the rest of Northern Arizona throughout the afternoon and evening, finally ending by 9-10pm.

Still, anyone within the watch areas should prepare for thunderstorm activity … Activity today can contain damaging winds, hail, and even the chance of tornado activity.
