Arizona Weather Force is tracking a ridge of high pressure that will develop over the Western United States during the weekend of May 11th, and going on for several days after that, which will push the metro zones of Arizona’s lower terrain through the century mark.
It is that time of year again. With a hot summer ahead for Arizona as summer creeps up, the cooler than normal temperatures we have been seeing will be replaced by early summertime temperatures. A ridge of high pressure will replace the current low-pressure system overhead this week by the weekend of May 11th, 2024. This ridge will continue to strengthen through the early week, giving Arizona the first taste of Summer 2024.
