Forecast: A cold storm system will move into the intermountain-west on Monday, lasting through Tuesday. Cold air from the Great Basin will work with warmer air in the forecast region and generate strong north to south winds through the Colorado River Valley, all the way from Nevada/Northwest Arizona southward to the Yuma forecast zones.
Wind gusts in excess of 35-50 mph will be likely, along with blowing sand and dust.
