August 2025 Arizona Monsoon Forecast: Monsoon Month; 10th onward

0Shares

Yeah it will be hot this week for Arizona, but like I’ve always stated, heat means a ridge building.  A ridge building in August is better than cold upper level lows off the Western Coast of California, due to the fact once they move east, monsoon moisture returns.  Given it hasn’t been widely much of one across the state, it does seem as if this ridge will be what make August return to our rain and thunderstorm pattern after the 10th, and going through all of Mid-August.

Several key factors are in place, including the hurricanes developing south of the forecast zone.   So, with that being said, I expect August 2025 to be above average in rainfall for Arizona.

Stay tuned to Arizona Weather Force for updates.
