Arizona Weather Force has issued a Tornado Watch effective Monday, October 13th, 2025, for the following zones;

Issued Zones: Eastern half of Maricopa County … Northern half of Pinal County … Southeast half of Gila County, including Globe …

Date Issued: October 13th, 2025 at 9:40am local

Watch Discussion: An upper level low that will bring Southern California its first strong Pacific Front on Tuesday, which will enhance the upper dynamics within the watch area.  Strong upper ascent within the divergence zone today will bring the instability up.  Several cells crossing the watch area will be supercells, capable of tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, and flooding.

This watch will start now and go through the evening.

A Tornado Watch is issued at Arizona Weather Force when conditions are possible for severe thunderstorms, covering over 50% of the watch zone, with damaging winds of over 50 mph and large hail in the stronger storms, along with tornado chances.   Watches at Arizona Weather Force are private, issued ahead of time to the public by AZWF as the lead-time is extremely important to you.
