Arizona Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch for the following areas for Wednesday, March 13th, 2024:  Mogollon Rim from Payson, Show Low, eastward through the Saint Johns forecast area, north to the Winslow zones.

A storm system that has successfully moved through the Utah forecast area will be present during the watch period.  Thunderstorms are expected to form in the afternoon hours, and last into the evening hours.  The highest concentration of them will be on the rim east into Payson, and through the Show Low forecast zones, or along the rim, and again, to Winslow and Holbrook.

Storms could produce hail, wind, heavy rain, and funnels within the watch area.  Where it snows, thundersnow is also going to be possible.
