Arizona Weather Force has issued a Thunderstorm Watch effective for the following zones.
Zones issued for: All of Gila County … Eastern Pinal County … Northeast Pima Catalina Mountains … Northwest Cochise, and Safford forecast zone.
Discussion: A tropical system is sending some mid-level moisture through the zones issued above. Pop-up thunderstorms are expected to form this afternoon and evening. Some of them will have severe hail and damaging winds, especially the Eastern Pinal County forecast zones.
