Site:  Arizona Weather Force has issued a Winter Weather Advisory effective later Friday into the Weekend …

Date:  1/20/22 at 3:55pm local

Forecast: A potent upper-level low will drop through the state on Friday, starting the light snowfall across the extreme northern part of the state by the afternoon hours.  By the evening/night into Saturday however, this will spread southward through to the entire Mogollon Rim and Grand Canyon zones.  Metro regions are not expected to get a lot of snow, maybe a dusting or so, but higher elevations like North Rim will see 2-6″ of snow. 
This advisory is to advise that snow is likely to be falling anywhere in the advisory area.  Use the AZWF snow model below to know what your area will see.
